So, we made the best of it, loaded in the van and headed back to Schiphol. It was good time on a Sunday morning for a little worship and cranked up Luminate's Banner of Love and Tomlin's Whom Shall I Fear. After the music, John asked Joshua to pick a verse for us in Psalms. He chose Psalm 62:1-2 For God alone my soul waits in silence; from Him comes my salvation, He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be greatly shaken. What a perfect verse for this journey. He is our rock!! We read a bit of Case for a Creator too and considered it a pretty great way to do an errand.
The boys did a little Elf style escalator for you Emma. Check out their faces.
Then, John took us to the beach which is about 15 minutes from the house. So much fun throwing a ball and playing with
Cassie. The kite surfing was tremendous to see!
The last stop on our way home was the pancake house right outside the water park behind our house. Delicious!!

Looks like an incredible Sunday! I know you are missing your church "family" here, but celebration was taking place in your car on the way to the airport with Josh reading and worship! Love it!!! The pancake shop looks amazing too. So glad ya'll were able to make the most of it AND thankful the airport contacted you about the bag!
Yes! We definitely missed being at Woodridge yesterday. The other crazy thing about the bags is that they even found us. Apparently the lady in Houston who checked our bags in put them all under Caleb's name. It took them a while to find our phone number. So crazy!
The food looks great. The table looks small. How did Cassie stay under that one? Glad to hear you have ALL your luggage now.
It was a really small table, but Cassie is just happy to be anywhere with us :). She pretty much rotated from set of feet to set of feet during each meal......oh, and of course she was on the alert for any food falling.
