Pucas Adventures

Packing Days

Feb. 19-20, 2015
I don't really know what I am doing with this blog yet.  But, my sweet friend Carrie gave me a book on how to navigate that I will try to read once we get settled.  Thankful for sweet Reese putting this blog together so that the boys and I have a place to capture the trip.  While our efforts will likely not be sophisticated, I hope that it will be an easy way to capture the adventure we are on and the ways the Lord uses events to reveal Himself to us.
The container is officially "locked and loaded." Hope to see it again around the middle of April pulling into our driveway in Holland! It was ginormous....and they managed to completely fill it!  We couldn't believe how much padding and paper was used, but I would be very surprised if there is any damage to anything thank goodness.  The packers said we did well since most people take 2 containers. Ha! I think I am ready to try the minimalist lifestyle next :)
John was thrilled to have closed on the sale of our van today, and we are thankful for so many wonderful friends who helped this whole process go smoothly. Kathy delivering great books, Kristin bringing lunch, Britt picking up and delivering supplements, Jackie, Liz and Caroline helping pack.
The boys enjoyed serving cookies to friends today on their last Super Friday too! All in all, a wonderful yet bittersweet day. Thankful for the clear path God has made for this adventure, but we will sure miss our friends/family here.
Speaking of all the ways God blessed the path, I will have to do a post on all the amazing little things that He worked together for us.  As a reminder to me later.....Cassie vet form, bolts for the kennel, KLM instead of United, Chad, rainbow while overwhelmed, abundant blessing of expat arrangement, friends in advance, Kara, Erna, Vickie, Karen......many more that I will hopefully remember later and journal the details.
