Final Good Byes

Our church family sent us off with such a warm time of prayer and blessings this morning. The service was filled with great worship of which Caleb and Heather were so thrilled to be a part.  Then Pastor Gregg and Chris led our family in a time of prayer with friends gathered around.  Our special friends, the Byers and Jays even came to church to support our last Sunday there.
Earlier this week on Wednesday, the Creative Arts team spent time in prayer for our family as well.  Thank you Lord for blessing us with such amazing friends that have become family to us.
Tonight we enjoyed dinner with our special friends the Koch’s and said goodbye to our 3rd child, Emma.  Such emotion filled our hearts as we had to say, “see you soon.”  It was hard sending Emma off to college, but this is even harder since we can’t just hop in the car and see her in College Station.  We pray that she will be able to visit at some point to make the time apart easier.  She bowled us over with thoughtful gifts for the boys for on the plane…..treats and a movie….and the most beautiful picture of our hearts attached from Texas to The Netherlands.  Oh how I love my Emma and all of her amazing family.
