We had a fantastic time in Hawaii! The first seven days were spent on Maui at the Marriott in Kaanapali with Mom and Joe. Then, we spent the next five days at the Marriott Ko'Olina on Oahu just the four of us. It was the perfect combination of relaxation and fun!
The very nice pilots invited the boys into the cockpit. It turns out the one pictured here is a friend of some of our friends at church...
Taking advantage of the first morning while still on "Houston time," we enjoyed a 6:00 run on the beach. After that, we only saw one 6:00 on the clock and it was definitely NOT am.
To celebrate Mother's Day, my boys took me out for a really nice dinner at a restaurant overlooking the ocean. While waiting to be seated, we listened to a live band playing next to the restaurant. Caleb looked up at me with his sweet smile and said, "Mommy, do you want to dance?" I don't know if my heart has ever melted like that. We kicked up our heels in the grass......he made my day!!!
